You have the option to offset your writing deficiency in speed by improving your speaking skills. Speak clearly sentence by sentence to your cell-phone and have it transcribe what you say as this student did. First, open WeChat application, choose someone to talk to (it is unimportant whom). Click the plus sign at the bottom to find the microphone icon for voice input. Set the language to Mandarin and start making your clips like this one 👇 showing the audio sound being transcribed into written characters. It is best that you do no more than one sentence at a time unless you are very confident of your pronunciation and tones. Then submit the clips to Hong laoshi or me by email. We will register your this grade as an in-class dictation. You don’t need to do this if you prefer writing the skit by hand in class in ten minutes when we do skit dictation.
